Been 18 for a little over a week now. I'm sort of feeling a little, relieved, and disappointed. All the anticipation is gone. I'll never become an adult again! T^T

In the end, I hope this... err.. situation works out in a happy way.

This has been by far the slowest week in the world for me. I'm afraid though, that when I blow out my candles, I'll blow out all the excitement and anticipation with it v.....v

-- On a side note, I went into GameStop on Monday to fill out my paperwork, and it was kinda fun! ^^

So my interview with GameStop wenr REALLY well! I was in a very...chilly storage room for an hour and a half being interviewed by a man who looks exactly like the comic book store owner in the Simpsons. I say the interview went well because I hear its good for your interviewer to want to talk to you on lots of topics.

If all goes as well as I hope it did, then I will have to go in for a second interview sometime this week or early next week.

Max Rave is my favorite store in the Dayton Mall and their clothes are extremely inexpensive. My sister is pretty much up my ass about this job. She wants me to get out of my "videogame phase". Those discounts are probably a perk in her eyes as well. My interview here was rather, strange. The manager looked like she was fifteen and there were two other girls being intervied at the same time as me. She asked each one of us questions and at the end, we had to "sell" a working associate a dressed-up mannequin. I got to go first and they said I did pretty good.

--Either job will suit me, I mean, I'm not gonna complain at all if one hires me and the other one doesn't.

HOLY F-ING SHIT!! I finally got an interview set up! Its at a GameStop by my house near Burlington Coat Factory. There is one in the mall but they weren't hiring. So!! With my sister's stylish expertice (because apparently I have none -___-) we (meaning I) spent about $60 on  my brand-new interview-worthy outfit!

You see, this is why I hate fashion... So much money is involved. Money that I don't have a lot of.

ANYWAY!! Wish me luck that I do good at my interview tomorrow and hope to what ever God you pray to that I get this job.

I think I'll take a crack at making some today!

Oh! My birthday cake is going to be in the shape of a Pocky box. Original red. Men's Pocky looks a bit complicated and I doubt Meijer sells teal frosting, I'm not too big on Strawberry Pocky either. I'm making the cake myself! If anyone has any good, inexpensive yellow cake recipies lemme know!

I can always resort to Betty Crocker, but where's the fun in that?!

I ordered a wireless modem from my friend Charlie and it came in today. Its a linksys (bought it refurbished) and so far everything checks out good. Set up was so simple a blonde could do it. My mom (I'm still angry about yesterday >.<) is okay with me having it because she knows it won't cost her a penny.

So yeah, we should totally play Brawl sometime

my mom needs to realize that no one is hiring anywhere.. i'm fucking 17 years old and no one will hire me. no one has called me for even an interview. she just keeps bitching and bitching and bitching.. i'm so ficking tired of it!

my grandpa came here to drop off a birthday card and my mom thought this was a perfect opportunity to tell my grandpa what a bad child i am. how i am irresponsible, and lazy. she threatened to "slap the shit out of me"

i cant take it anymore.. i'm about to go insane. everyone says being a teenager is hard and all the teens think they're lives are the worst.. i know i know i sound just like them

So, I went to Ele` today (Formerly known as "Taste of Elegance") and applied for a job. They had "essay questions" on te back of the app. They were odd questions too, that have nothing to do with baking or cake or anything like that. They only had one box that asked you what your previous experiences with baking were. The girl who gave me the app seemed nice. All the girls that work there are... strangely similar. They all have brown/black hair, tanned, brown eyes and are super skinny.
